Q: How should I fix the hook?
A: If fixing to a ceiling or to a dry-lined wall, first locate a timber joist of beam nearest to the desired location. Drill a small (we recommend 3mm diameter) pilot hole into the timber to the appropriate depth, then screw in the hook. If fixing to masonry, first drill a hole and fit a wall plug of appropriate size, and screw in the hook.
