A: If you cut a little of the sponge provided to fit within the protective cap of your probe, ensuring that it is always wetted with Meter Store, and if you always replace the cap on the probe when it is not in use, your probe will never dry out, and its serviceable life will thus be prolonged to the maximum.
If the pH meter probe dries out, you can try to revitalise it, but for optimal results you want to keep it wet.
