A: It is best to use a flowering booster through the flowering period, but during the week of peak flowering an enhanced availability of Phosphorus and Potassium encourages plants to redirect more energy into flowering and fruiting. While using PK 13/14 don’t add your regular flowering booster to the nutrient solution.
Q: Will I need to adjust my nutrient solution if I add Essentials PLUS PK 13/14?
A: You should check the EC level of your nutrient solution, because adding Essentials PLUS PK 13/14 will increase it. Always check your pH level after addition too, which should ideally be within the range 5.8 - 6.5.
